On August 23, 2023, Whyte’s Foods Inc. (the “Company”), filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (the “NOI”) pursuant to section 50.4(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (the “BIA”) and Alvarez and Marsal Canada Inc. (“A&M”) was named as the Proposal Trustee.

On August 31, 2023, the Court issued an order (the “Initial Order”) which, among other things, approved a sale and investment solicitation process (“SISP”) in respect of the Company. A copy of the SISP is attached as Schedule A to the Initial Order and is available HERE.
