Samuel Dimson
With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Dimson has provided, information technology services, business process improvement services, revenue assurance services, regulatory risk analysis, internal audit, project management, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance services to clients in industries including energy, manufacturing, insurance, retail, technology, communications and healthcare.
Mr. Dimson’s recent engagements include leading multiple IT transformation projects for energy clients by outsourcing IT services, designing future state IT organizations for key IT functions (help desk, ERP and app support, network and infrastructure/Cloud services), and generating and executing designs and project plans for transition and transformational activities to achieve steady-state environments. He also led the implementation of a VDI solution for an energy company, built a cloud strategy for a waste management company, and helped a client in bankruptcy proceedings restructure its IT organization and reduce costs.
Previously, Mr. Dimson served as Acting Director of IT for a bankrupt directories company, restructuring the IT organization, reducing IT spend, outsourcing key network services and developing an IT operational and financial roadmap. He also led a multi-year engagement helping a Fortune 500 retail company implement a MPLS network and a unified communications solution at over 120 domestic and international location and served as the Interim Director of Infrastructure for an international propane distribution company where he transitioned IT expenditures from a CAP-Ex model to an OP-Ex model.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Dimson was an Associate Director and founder of Protiviti, an international risk consulting firm, where he led the Communications Expense Management practice. He also provided Internal Audit and General Business Risk/Improvement services to Fortune 500 clients. Prior to that, Mr. Dimson was a Manager in the Risk Consulting practice at Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Dimson earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma. He is a certified Project Management Professional.
