Mitch Lor-Fair is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Chicago. He specializes in aligning organizational leaders and talent structures to the respective business strategy and value creation plan to realize the intended business outcomes. With more than 10 years of consulting experience, Mr. Lor-Fair has partnered with private equity, Fortune 500 and founder led executive teams to align talent to desired business outcomes. In addition, he has been the lead architect for large scale leadership and organizational transformation programs across a range of industries, including airlines, consumer goods and manufacturing. ​

Mr. Lor-Fair’s notable engagements include the redesign of an insurance company's top 50 leaders post integration of six companies coming together. He also worked with an international air carrier to re-evaluate their human resources function's purpose, strategy and capabilities as the organization emerged from bankruptcy. The core focus of his work is optimization of business results by advising an organization's greatest differentiator: people. ​

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Lor-Fair served as Director with FMG Leading’s Private Equity Practice. Previously, he served with Huron Consulting Group, Deloitte and Korn Ferry.

Mr. Lor-Fair earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree from Ohio State University.
