Kartik Suresh

Most recently at A&M, Mr. Suresh has been involved in the re-start of a 400-room hotel project that has been non-operational for over two years. Additionally, he has led the transformation program for apparel fashion, departmental stores and pharmacy chain retailers, with a focus on working capital optimization, buy-plan revision, merchandise mix review, format and assortment strategy, footprint rationalization, rental re-negotiations, process re-engineering and organization restructuring.
Furthermore, Mr. Suresh program managed the commercial take-over of an INR 400-crore portfolio and multiple brands by a global pharma company, where 2,000+ stockists were onboarded; 150+ people trained as part of the field force; and teams achieved 135% of targeted sales in the first quarter. He has also led carve-out projects across the BPO and NBFC spaces, including a recent $1.2 billion deal that entailed assessing standalone costs and drafting a TSA support document for a healthcare BPO with 20,000+ employees and delivery centers across India, the Philippines, Jamaica and the U.S.
Mr. Suresh regularly works with private equity and venture capital funds on operating diligence during the investment stage and helping portfolio companies improve performance post investment by identifying critical issues with operations and having a clear 100-day plan to execute.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Suresh served with TAS for more than seven years. As a Business Development Manager at Taj Group of Hotels, he led the efforts for signing up over 400 keys as management contracts and managed projects worth $40 million across India and Sri Lanka. He was also a core member of the TTML-TTSL integration team and drove more than $25 million worth of savings as synergies in back-end operations. Mr. Suresh started his career as a programmer analyst at Cognizant.
Mr. Suresh earned a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from NIT, Allahabad, and a post graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
