Jeffrey Relf

Mr. Relf brings more than 30 years of cost optimization experience leading high-performance, global teams that deliver complex change programs across Europe, Russia, China, Australia and the U.S. His notable assignments include leading a rapid cost takeout program for a global engineering, construction and procurement company that provides fossil and renewable power generation and environmental equipment for power and industrial markets worldwide. He identified a sustainable 28 percent reduction in annual IT costs by rationalizing business applications, right sizing user licenses, altering support agreements and reorganizing the global delivery model.
Previously, Mr. Relf led a corporate transformation program for a Fortune 500 global pure-play, coal mining company serving the power and steel industries in 25+ countries across six continents by redesigning the operating model and organizational structure to drive agility and efficiency. This resulted in material reductions in SG&A and OpEx and $100 million in cost reductions. He delivered a rapid cost takeout program for an upstream company with producing assets in the Permian Basin, Midwest, Ark-La-Tex, Mid Continent, the Rockies and California, achieving a 37 percent reduction in annual IT costs.
Prior to that, Mr. Relf led the selection and implementation of a Global Shared Services project that outsourced transaction processing related to accounts payable, financial reporting, sourcing, purchasing and IT, reducing G&A costs by 42 percent for an international upstream company with assets in 20+ countries.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Relf spent seven years with BG Group as a CIO based in Brisbane, Australia and as a supply chain executive responsible for supporting operations in North America.
Mr. Relf earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Arizona. He holds a certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
