Jay Campbell

With more than 19 years of experience, Mr. Campbell has worked with clients on complex transformations and provided leadership for operational efficiency and cost and working capital reduction initiatives. He has advised clients across multiple industries, including oil and gas, manufacturing, environmental services, private aviation and public sector. Notable clients include Maverick Natural Resources, Oasis Petroleum, Encana, EP Energy, FTS International, Keane, QMax, TEAM Industrial Services, Waste Management, Vizient, Universal Weather & Aviation, and the City of Houston.
Mr. Campbell has delivered performance improvement initiatives including enterprise CapEx, operating cost and G&A reduction, organizational restructuring, labor force improvements, merger integration, supply chain and working capital reduction.
Prior to rejoining A&M, Mr. Campbell served as an Operating Partner for a private equity firm, acting as COO for a welding and fabrication company focused on building land-based drilling rig components. There, he implemented Lean principles and transformed the company’s operations, including production scheduling and hours management, job costing, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, financial reporting, quality, safety and performance management processes.
Prior to that, Mr. Campbell worked for Deloitte Consulting in Houston, where he worked with Fortune 500 companies to improve their supply chains.
Mr. Campbell earned a BBA in accounting from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. At Darden, he received the William Michael Shermet Award and the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence and was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
