Hardip Bhatti is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Portfolio Advisory Group in London. He specializes in leading performing, non-performing and distressed debt portfolio transactions globally.

With nearly 20 years of experience across the financial services industry, Mr. Bhatti has led the execution of advisory, buy- and sell-side and bank restructuring mandates across a range of European and Asian markets. These transactions have included both distressed and performing exposures and unsecured and secured exposures across all asset classes.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bhatti served as Partner with EY for four years in London, where he was responsible for advising investors and existing holders of debt portfolios in acquiring, disposing or otherwise optimizing assets to achieve strategic objectives. 

Previously, Mr. Bhatti served as Director with Deloitte in London and Hong Kong, whereas part of the firm’s Portfolio Lead Advisory team, he led the execution of portfolio and bank restructuring mandates across the U.K., Europe and Asia.

Mr. Bhatti earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Birmingham. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Mr. Bhatti often speaks at conferences on the topic of performing and non-performing loan portfolios.
