Andrew Maliszewski is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in New York. He specializes in the travel and hospitality sector. His primary areas of concentration are corporate and growth strategy, guest and employee experience and analytics.

With more than 13 years of consulting experience, Mr. Maliszewski has worked across all the major cruise lines and several major hoteliers across the globe. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including cruise, hotel, travel services, retail, food and beverage and consumer goods.

Mr. Maliszewski’s notable assignments include helping a major cruise line launch a digital experience platform; leading a digital experience business carve-out; and optimizing the current operations of a pre-IPO cruise line. Most recently, he was responsible for leading the diligence effort for a major hotel exploring entering the all-inclusive business independently of other partnerships and agreements.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Maliszewski spent 13 years with Accenture’s Strategy practice in New York, where he most recently served as a Senior Strategy Manager. He was responsible for leading the cruise business globally, as well as serving clients in the hotel industry across engagements from new business entry to overall corporate strategy. Mr. Maliszewski was also responsible for creating and leading the Manager Development Program for the Strategy practice, mentoring junior colleagues, leading university recruiting interviews and crafting the quarterly Point of Views for the travel industry.

Mr. Maliszewski earned a bachelor’s degree in finance (minor in accounting) from the University of Tampa and an MBA (concentrations in finance and strategy) from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. At the University of Tampa, he served as the President of the Student Investment Fund.
