With over 20 years of experience, Ms. Garay began her career as an executive in the legal departments of banks, where she gained deep knowledge of the financial sector and honed her strategic management skills. For more than a decade, she led legal and credit recovery departments in the retail and corporate segments. Additionally, Ms. Garay worked as an independent consultant on projects aimed at improving the management of law firms. As an attorney, she spent seven years in forensic practice with law firms, defending clients’ interests in various sectors, including banking and consumer goods.

Ms. Garay earned a bachelor’s degree in law and postgraduate qualifications in civil procedure and criminal sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. She also holds an MBA in business management from Foundation Getulio Vargas. She is a licensed attorney registered with the Order of Attorneys of Brazil in São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul.
