Ekaterina Ponkratova

Ms. Ponkratova has completed 30+ operation excellence engagements for mining and oil and gas companies. Her notable recent engagements include leading an operation excellence transformation for a large copper and zinc company that resulted in a 5% production improvement and up to 2%. in recovery improvement.
Previously, Ms. Ponkratova led operation excellence transformations for a large copper, gold and iron ore company that resulted in 7% production improvement and 1 percent. in recovery improvement; a large zinc and lead company that resulted in 40% metal production improvement while maintaining the recovery; and an operational efficiency improvement and cost optimization program for a large onshore/offshore drilling company that resulted in $47 million in savings (Capex and Opex).
Ms. Ponkratova also ran a headcount reduction program for large steel producer that resulted in 20% productivity improvement; a contractor management system diagnostic for a large upstream oil and gas company that identified $10 million in potential savings; an operational efficiency improvement and cost optimization program for a large refinery that included a merger of two refineries and resulted in $47 million in savings; and an operational efficiency improvement and cost optimization diagnostic for a large gas distribution that identified $118 million in savings.

Ms. Ponkratova earned bachelors’ degrees in economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University and mathematics methods in economics from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. A member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Ms. Ponkratova speaks Russian and English
