Nick Alvarez is a Managing Director and National Practice Leader of Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Group. With 25 years of corporate advisory, operational improvement and interim management experience, he focuses on assisting private equity sponsors with due diligence and post-acquisition performance improvement.

Paul Aversano is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in New York. He is the Global Practice Leader of A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group and oversees the firm’s Corporate Transactions Group. For over 25 years, he has led both buy-side and sell-side financial and accounting due diligence projects for complex public and private company transactions, as well as transactions in the capital markets. He specializes in assessing quality of earnings and GAAP accounting; providing accounting and transaction structuring advice for leveraged buyouts; purchase accounting; and SEC reporting.

James (Jim) McDermott is a Managing Director and Leader with Alvarez & Marsal’s Insurance and Risk Advisory Services practice in New York.

Mark McMahon is a Managing Director and the Global Practice Leader of Alvarez & Marsal Valuation Services. He is based in New York, where he also leads the Alternative Investment Services group.
