Mr. Lauter specializes in buy- and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients, with expertise in the technology, media and telecom (TMT) and business services sectors. He began his financial due diligence career with A&M in Atlanta.

Mr. Lauter has worked on more than 50 TMT and business services transactions over the last six years. His notable transactions include buy-side due diligence for Francisco Partner’s acquisitions of EG A/S, Keyloop and ByBox; buy-side due diligence for Partners Group’s acquisitions of Forterro and Cloudflight; buy-side due diligence for TA Associates’ acquisition of Adcubum AG and bolt-on acquisitions across his clients’ portfolios.

Mr. Lauter regularly works with other clients including Symphony Technology Group, Livingbridge, One Equity Partners, Lead Edge Capital, IK Partners, Fortress and Sandbox. 

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Lauter spent four years with Deloitte’s Audit practice in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Mr. Lauter earned a bachelor’s degree from the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a CPA in the state of Georgia.
