Samantha Abraham

Ms. Abraham has 15+ years of professional experience, including eight years leading complex buy- and sell-side transactions and spin-off/initial public offering divestitures ranging from $100 million to $50 billion in size. She has worked across a variety of industries, including life sciences, industrial manufacturing, aerospace and defense, consumer and retail, and professional services.
Ms. Abraham specializes in helping clients deliver value throughout the transaction life cycle. Her support has included transition service agreement planning/exit, cross-functional pre- and post-close integration/separation planning and execution, legal entity stand-up and operationalization, real estate separation and planning, and communications. She has significant experience in navigating the complexities of cross-border transactions and has worked on solving operational matters across 125+ countries.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Abraham was a Managing Director with KPMG’s Strategy practice in Washington, D.C., where she led multiple global teams to address complex operational, regulatory, and people matters across integrations and separations.
Previously, she spent over seven years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy. Her most notable assignment was serving as the Navigator on a state-of-the-art destroyer. She deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where she worked to train and assimilate 100+ Iraqi stakeholders and military personnel. She also led a team ashore in Haiti following the 2010 earthquake.
Ms. Abraham earned a bachelor’s degree in comprehensive science (biology/chemistry) from Villanova University and an MBA from Georgetown University. She volunteers for Martha’s Table in Washington, D.C.
