Robert Lang

Mr. Lang has served as an expert and testified in high profile cases involving hundreds of millions of dollars and has led large-scale investigations into complex economic and accounting issues. His cases involve lost profits claims, valuation disputes, post-acquisition disputes, complex transactional disputes and business interruptions.
Mr. Lang’s cases often involve the measurement of value and quantifying the creation or destruction of value. He has analyzed the value of entities and assets ranging from oil and gas operations to steel mills to complex securities to the world's largest cancer tumor bank. Mr. Lang has worked with clients in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South America, the Middle East and Asia.
Many of Mr. Lang’s cases involve the management and analysis of large data and he is often involved in matters where analysis of damages requires collection, evaluation and analysis of large volumes of transactional data. He has also provided general strategic and business advisory services to companies, assisting them with buy- and sell-side transaction support, restructuring services, raising capital and strategic reviews.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Lang was a Director with Navigant Consulting, where he focused on complex litigation, investigations and other disputes. Previously, he was a partner in the disputes practice of a large accounting firm.
Mr. Lang earned a BBA in financial services from Baylor University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the AICPA. Mr. Lang is a guest lecturer in the graduate accounting program at Baylor University, where he also serves on the advisory board for the Accounting and Business Law department.
