Piotr Zdrojewski

Mr. Zdrojewski is a seasoned financial executive with over 30 years of professional experience gathered in investment and commercial banking and strategic financial advisory. He covers the entire strategic and operating corporate finance area, with a strong and integrated focus on equity value, credit worthiness, profitability, financial liquidity, and financial risk.
Mr. Zdrojewski has handled over €18 billion in transactions across multiple sectors and countries for Polish and international entities, mostly in finance raising and restructuring but also in M&A, equity capital markets, and debt capital markets. His particularly notable assignments include: managing a $2 billion bank credit portfolio; managing a project finance structuring and raising over €1 billion for a Grupa Azoty chemical project; and managing an out-of-court financial restructuring worth over €3 billion in the Polish power generation sector.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Zdrojewski worked as an investment banker at Schroders and Salomon Brothers, a commercial banker and Director at Citibank, Head of Corporate Finance and Executive Director at KBC, Director at PwC, and CFO and management board member at a number of other entities. He also served as the Platinum Bank Industry Head for Polish power, oil, and gas at Citibank, set up and led the M&A and equity capital market businesses for KBC Securities in Poland, and set up and led the debt advisory business (finance raising and restructuring) for PwC in Poland—this became the largest of its kind not only in Poland but in central and eastern Europe at the time.
Mr. Zdrojewski earned a master’s degree in mechatronics from the Warsaw University of Technology and an MBA from the Warsaw University of Technology School of Business in a joint venture with London Business School, HEC Paris, and the Norwegian School of Economics. He is fluent in Polish and English.
