Patrick Schaub is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Transaction Advisory Group in Zurich, Switzerland. He brings more than 18 years of experience in transaction services and provides buy and sell-side financial due diligence services, carve-out accounts preparation, sale and purchase agreement advisory and post-deal support on completion accounts and disputes.

Mr. Schaub has led a number of cross border transactions throughout Switzerland and Europe, Asia and North America. He has worked with clients across a broad range of industries including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, consumer and industrial products.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Schaub was a partner in the Transaction Services Department in Deal Advisory at KPMG in Zurich.  He supported corporate and private equity clients in acquisition and disposal situations, including vendor assistance and vendor due diligence. Notably, Mr. Schaub led the financial carve-out of a very large spin-off from a global pharmaceutical business.

Mr. Schaub started his career in the audit department, where he managed national and international audit clients, including group financial statements and consolidation.

Mr. Schaub earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. He is a registered Swiss Chartered Accountant. A Swiss national, Mr. Schaub is fluent in English and German.
