Ojas Wadivkar is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Energy in Houston. He brings more than 25 years of experience in management consulting and large-scale transformation efforts within the chemicals industry. 

Mr. Wadivkar specializes in issues across the chemicals value chain including strategy, operations, procurement, supply chain, and customer excellence. He focuses on helping companies drive improved financial performance and transform their organizations to address profitability issues amid the landscape of changing customer expectations and the advent of new digital technologies.

Mr. Wadivkar’s notable assignments include the implementation of a large-scale transformation for a global petrochemicals company, where he transformed the supply chain, finance, and procurement functions. He was also responsible for cost reduction for a chemicals company, delivering double digit savings by offshoring a number of functions. Additionally, he developed a roadmap and implementation plan for digital strategy for a specialty chemicals company.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wadivkar spent over seven years with Accenture as a Managing Director, where he also led the Chemicals practice in North America. Prior to that, he was a Partner with Kearney working in the North American and Middle Eastern markets for over 13 years. Previously, he led the Energy Engineering group in Southern California for Johnson Controls.

Mr. Wadivkar earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Wadivkar is a frequent speaker at various conferences for the chemicals industry.
