Nick Bowman

With more than 20 years of aerospace and defense experience operating in the U.S., U.K. and mainland Europe, Mr. Bowman brings a demonstrated history of delivering operational business results, launching new products and developing robust supply chain solutions in the manufacturing sector. He brings a broad aerospace and defense background in both the OEM and MRO sectors, with experience working as a supplier to all the major airframe and aero engine OEMs, along with the major North American Airline carriers.
Additionally, Mr. Bowman has led large global engineering teams and run operating businesses as a General Manager in periods of growth and turnaround, along with having experience leading large, complex programs in the start-up phase. Always at the forefront of industrial strategy execution, he has been integral in the startup of new manufacturing facilities, M&A due diligence and industrial footprint rationalization.
Mr. Bowman’s selected notable assignments include serving as general manager, leading a $100 million aerospace transparency business. He grew the business from $85 million to $100 million; delivered a 23% increase in EBITDA; and enhanced customer satisfaction with an over 20% increase in on-time delivery and a greater than 25% reduction in customer escapes. Mr. Bowman also has led due diligence from an operations and engineering perspective for a $900 million aerospace and defense acquisition, identifying synergy opportunities, developing the integration roadmap and associated risk and mitigation plans; served as Interim General Manager for a $135 million aero-engines component supplier, operating five sites across the U.S. and Mexico; and served as Interim Deputy General Manager for a $300 million UAS business that had grown very rapidly over the prior two years (achieved tripling of production output over a six-month period).
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bowman was SVP Global Manufacturing Engineering for a Tier 1 supplier to the aerospace and defense sector.
Mr. Bowman earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Imperial College in London and a master’s degree in international business from St. Louis University.
