Leonardo Florencio

With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Florencio has been involved in numerous Latin American and international large-scale disputes and economic valuation engagements in the context of arbitration and litigation. Mr. Florencio’s expertise spans across multiple sectors, including automotive, banking, construction, distribution, energy, food, healthcare, infrastructure, insurance, IT, and oil and gas.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Florencio was a Senior Managing Director in the Economic Consulting practice at FTI Consulting and a Director at PwC in the Corporate Finance and Valuations group. He has also worked as a Chief Financial Officer in the largest Brazilian medical distributor to hospitals, as a Corporate Finance Consultant at Stern Stewart & Co., and as an analyst in the banking sector.
Mr. Florencio earned a master’s degree in finance from the London Business School. Several of his articles have been featured in Global Arbitration Review. He has been a speaker on valuation and damages for the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association (ANBIMA), the Latin American Arbitration Practitioners (LATAP), and in the CAM-CCBC Arbitration Congress. Mr. Florencio has also been an instructor in trainings to more than 25 law firms in Latin America on topics related to valuations in the context of disputes. Mr. Florencio is fluent in English, French, and Portuguese and has advanced skills in Spanish.
