Kristy Ton

With more than 23 years of experience in international tax, Ms. Ton provides innovative tax solutions to clients (both U.S. multinational companies and inbound) across various industries, including energy, real estate, health and life sciences, chemical, and technology.
Ms. Ton advises clients on the tax consequences of domestic and cross-border transactions and leads the development and implementation of comprehensive global tax restructuring and planning, including repatriation, cross-border merger and acquisitions, consolidation and integration transactions, financing/debt restructuring, supply chain/business model optimization, IP migration, foreign tax credit analysis, US conduit and treaty planning, cash management, subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and 163j.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Ton was a partner in the International Tax and Transaction Services practice at EY. Previously, she was an in-house Tax Director and Tax Counsel for Fortune 500 companies.
Ms. Ton received a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Dallas, a J.D. from Loyola University School of Law, and an LLM in taxation from the University of Houston School of Law. She is a member of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and the Louisiana State Bar. Ms. Ton is a frequent speaker at TEI, API and other conferences.
