Mr. Talbert led the Project Management Office for a complex carveout of two businesses from a global $3 billion publicly traded company in the life sciences. The engagement required a full standup of finance, IT, and HR functions, including the implementation of enterprise resource planning and human capital management systems. It also entailed the oversight of several value creation initiatives, including labor cost rationalization and procurement optimization, which generated over $20 million in incremental EBITDA.

Notably, Mr. Talbert performed accounting integration and financial operations oversight for a $500 million multisite physician services company. Major projects included accounting system implementation, complex physician compensation modeling, and KPI reporting development for several individual practice acquisitions.

In addition, Mr. Talbert served as the Interim Controller for a $200 million direct-to-consumer employer healthcare provider. He co-led the accounting integration for an $80 million acquisition and completed an initial project readiness project that included a successful Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) audit and S-1 filing.

Mr. Talbert was also Lead Advisor for the sell-side diligence of two large carveouts at a publicly traded $3 billion physician services company. Major deliverables for this project included detailed multiyear financial projection models, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and transition services agreements.
