Mr. Rickardsson brings more than 15 years of experience in restructuring advisory and financial review. His primary area of concentration is leading complex restructurings with the aim of obtaining clarity about the financial and commercial position of the business and identifying its prospective viability and the range of available restructuring options. He has advised lenders, owners and management teams in stressed and distressed situations across a range of industries, including oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, retail, real estate, automotive, and hospitality and entertainment.

Most recently, Mr. Rickardsson has been involved in financial, commercial and operational review and advising lenders in connection with the restructuring of a multinational down-stream oil and gas company. Prior to this, he advised stakeholders in the restructuring of a retail chain with a Nordic store network and led the advisory work in a distressed situation in the automotive industry.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Rickardsson was responsible for financial restructuring at EY where he specialized in delivering focused, situation specific business reviews and options analyses. He worked with companies, shareholders and lenders to ensure that the approach was tailored to the specific needs of the situation. Besides providing restructuring advice, Mr. Rickardsson worked on transactions offering financial advisory services to non-distressed Private Equity and corporate clients.

Mr. Rickardsson earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in business, economics, accounting and finance from Uppsala University. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Sweden. A Swedish national, Mr. Rickardsson is fluent in Swedish and English.
