With more than 20 years of experience working to solve strategic and operational challenges, Mr. Ross has experience from strategy through execution and works to align and translate business strategy into operations capabilities and plans. He has worked on performance improvement programs and across the M&A lifecycle, providing advice and critical insights into the growth and operational improvements across a variety of technology assets.
Mr. Ross’ notable engagements include separating and preparing both parts of a multibillion-dollar enterprise software business for sale, including operational improvement plans across all functions to overachieve on target multiples. He led the transformation of a leading cybersecurity company through an integration and shift to a subscription cloud model, including re-forming the financial and GTM models for the business.
Mr. Ross has led the strategic planning process design and execution for a leading communications company, improving ROIC and freeing $2 billion in capital for reinvestment in strategic programs. He led the cybersecurity solutions business transformation of a SaaS model across products, sales, customer success, and G&A. He has also led due diligence on 80+ software and communications deals for both corporate and PE clients.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ross was a Managing Director for TMT Strategy and M&A at KPMG and EPAM Systems, leading M&A, integration, and corporate transformation offerings. Previously, he served as a Director at PwC and PRTM, focused on operational strategy and performance improvement. Prior to that, Mr. Ross worked with Nortel Networks, helping customers to design, deploy, and maintain communication network solutions.
Mr. Ross earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Brunswick and an MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University.
