Erin McKeighan

Ms. McKeighan brings nearly 20 years of restructuring experience advising private and public companies across a range of industries, including technology, media and telecommunications, wholesale and retail, manufacturing and energy (including coal, power generation, oil and gas). She has advised on 40+ cases throughout her career, facilitating the restructuring of $60+ billion in debt obligations.
Ms. McKeighan has partnered with client stakeholders, including management, boards, sponsors and creditors, facilitating restructurings and reorganizations that ultimately place her clients in a stronger financial position. Much of her effort has centered on assisting companies as they navigate the data-intensive aspects of Chapter 11 and execute complex plans of reorganization.
Additionally, Ms. McKeighan prepares first-day pleadings, coordinates communications to stakeholders, supports negotiations of asset purchase agreements, provides financial reporting, develops schedules and statements of financial affairs, analyzes executory contracts, performs preference analyses, reconciles claims and carries out all facets of post-confirmation activities.
Ms. McKeighan earned a bachelor’s degree in business (concentration in accounting and computer information systems) from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She was recognized as an American Bankruptcy Institute “40 Under 40” honoree in 2021; is a leadership member of Catholic Renewal; serves as a wish granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation; and is a board member of Golden Apple, an organization dedicated to developing and supporting teachers and school leaders.
