Eric Szeto is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Los Angeles. His primary areas of concentration are end-to-end supply chain, procurement, margin management, and data visualization.

With more than 12 years of consulting experience, Mr. Szeto has led numerous supply chain programs focused on strategic cost management, network optimization, make-versus-buy rationalization, demand and supply planning, strategic sourcing and procurement, and financial planning and analysis solutions.

Mr. Szeto’s notable assignments include: developing live Power BI dashboards for operating margin forecast and inflation tracking, for a $1 billion large industrial machinery manufacturer; leading a make-versus-buy and footprint rationalization assessment for a $500 million manufacturer of home and garden products; and leading an end-to-end supply chain evaluation and value-creation implementation for a $500 million premium nutraceutical manufacturer.

Mr. Szeto has worked with clients across various industries, including industrial manufacturing, specialty chemicals, consumer packaged goods, electronics, technology, media, and telecommunications, and automotive.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Szeto spent six years at GEP, a supply chain and procurement consulting firm, where he most recently served as a Manager. His notable project achievements include driving $16 million in annual utility savings by sourcing and implementing renewable energy and storage systems on a television and film studio lot for a Fortune 100 media and entertainment company.

Mr. Szeto earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical and systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
