Danny Popielinski

With more than 20 years of industry and professional services experience, Mr. Popielinski brings an operator’s perspective to all phases of the deal cycle. He has led companies and served clients across a range of industries, including software as a service, cybersecurity, hardware and software, hospitality, and food and beverage. Mr. Popielinski now primarily focuses on high-tech service organizations.
Mr. Popielinski’s notable assignments include leading the integration process for a $2.7 billion public cybersecurity company acquiring two early-stage platforms; driving a performance improvement engagement where he identified operational back-office inefficiencies in total value of $174 million; and leading the separation activities for a $14.5 billion carve-out, ensuring comprehensive Day 1 readiness. Mr. Popielinski has also led and executed numerous assignments related to synergy assessment, carve-out analysis, commercial diligence, and supply chain performance improvement.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Popielinski served as the Senior Director of Strategy and Finance with The Wonderful Company. Before that, he spent three years with KPMG Strategy, leading engagements as a Director in their Technology, Media and Telecoms group. He also held Senior Consultant and Manager roles with Deloitte. In addition, Mr. Popielinski has served in various leadership roles in industry, including the fitness and food and beverage verticals.
Mr. Popielinski earned a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration from Cornell University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he received the Gloria Appel Award for excellence in entrepreneurship.
