Mr. Battelli brings more than 25 years of experience, most of which is in high value added consulting and interim management services. He managed the operational/financial restructuring of a tissue company as interim CEO; led the acquisition and restructuring of a distressed textile-machinery company as CEO; was in charge for two years of the supply operations strategy and improvement at a multinational food and beverage group, with integration of acquired Italian operations; and led the financial and operational restructuring of an oil and gas services group as CRO.

Additionally, Mr. Battelli brings significant, high-profile experiences in many industries, including automotive, durable and fast-moving consumer goods, food and beverage, aerospace and defense, engineering and contracting. 

Recently, Mr. Battelli designed the strategy for development of the A&D specialty metals industry within a Middle-Eastern country; led many operations due diligences in A&D, food and beverage, off-highway vehicles and renewable fuels, as well as the crash improvement plan of a distressed supplier of automotive components. Additionally, he defined the detailed industrial turnaround plan for a manufacturer of aero-structures.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Battelli worked for AlixPartners in Milan. Before that, he ran his own consulting and interim management practice, where he was interim CXO in four different companies and consulted to many more. Previously, Mr. Battelli worked in banking at BofA-Merrill Lynch and in management consulting for AlixPartners and Kearney. At the beginning of his career, he worked in sales and in process engineering for an engineering and contracting company.

Mr. Battelli earned a master’s degree in chemical engineering from University of Bologna and an MBA from MIP. He is a chartered engineer and served as a board executive in several companies.
