With over a decade of consulting and investing experience, Ms. Balyan has helped clients navigate complex strategic decisions across sectors such as financial services, healthcare, education, and IT services. She is particularly experienced in crafting value creation plans, including market entry and go-to-market strategies for PE-backed high growth companies, and operationally driving performance improvement initiatives.

Ms. Balyan has led over 80 consulting assignments, including commercial and operational due diligence studies for strategic and financial investors, growth strategy and market entry projects, and value creation and transformation mandates for PE portfolio companies. She has also led integration and separation programs and performance improvement diagnostics for both PE portfolio companies and corporates. Her notable assignments include preparing the separation design for a large regional bank looking to carve out its Sharia banking division from its conventional banking operations. She has contributed to commercial and operational due diligence efforts for bulge bracket and mid-market PE clients such as Bain Capital, Blackstone, Brookfield, Cerberus Capital Management, Goldman Sachs, KKR, and Temasek.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Balyan was a core member of the Portfolio Operations team at ChrysCapital, one of India’s leading PE funds. Previously, she was a member of Deloitte India’s Value Creation Services practice and played a pivotal role in scaling the offering across India and Southeast Asia.

Ms. Balyan earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and has served as a guest faculty speaker at IIM Calcutta and XLRI. She is a frequent speaker at industry forums, including the Indian Startup & Leadership Summit and The Economic Times Summit. She previously served as a core member of the A&M India DEI Council, Chair of the Women India Network, and Co-Chair of the A&M Young Professionals Board.
