Stacy Garvey

With more than 25 years of healthcare and financial services experience, Ms. Garvey has implemented critical process enhancements in patient access departments, health information management, coding, central business offices, and other critical management functions at over 130 healthcare institutions. She has driven savings of over $2.2 million in outsourced vendor costs by renegotiating contracts and service-level measures, while also decreasing denial rates by an average of 17 to 20%.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Garvey was Chief Operating Officer at Aspirion, a healthcare revenue management firm focused on revenue integrity and complex claims. During her tenure, Ms. Garvey redesigned and implemented enterprise-wide key performance indicators, resulting in a 17% improvement in claim completion rates and $27 million in potential incremental collections. In addition, she created a cross-functional integration team to complete two business acquisitions, as well as creating three new departments focused on transformation, performance analytics, and compliance to drive organizational integration.
Previously, Ms. Garvey led hospital, physician practice, and urgent care operations and revenue cycle improvements at CityMD, R1 RCM, and Stockamp & Associates (now Huron Consulting). Prior to those roles, she supported operational risk objectives at American Express.
Ms. Garvey earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Stanford University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Ms. Garvey is a member of the CALIBR Global Leadership Network.
