Khaleda Wheeler

Ms. Wheeler’s disputes experience spans a range of building and civil engineering projects, across many standard forms and bespoke construction contracts. She has worked on large infrastructure projects in Europe, Asia, Central America, and the Middle East, leading formal dispute resolution procedures, including statutory adjudication, arbitration, and litigation. Ms. Wheeler has also provided quantum analyses and opinion on projects before formal dispute proceedings are issued.
Ms. Wheeler has been instructed as a quantum expert and acted as the primary analyst for domestic adjudications, international arbitration, and DABs on various projects, including power plants, railways, airports, highways, buildings, liquefied natural gas pipelines, and the Panama Canal.
Before specializing in quantum expert analyses, Ms. Wheeler delivered quantity surveying and cost and commercial management services on large property and commercial projects.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Wheeler spent over six years with Secretariat, most recently as a Director in its Construction Disputes practice. Before that, she was with Navigant and Arcadis.
Ms. Wheeler earned an MSc in construction law and dispute resolution (distinction). She is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). Ms. Wheeler also sits on the Society of Construction Law Council, through which she is involved in the organization and delivery of various training events and initiatives.
