With more than 11 years of experience in transactions, Mr. van Bennekom has been involved in due diligence projects for both local and international private equity clients as well as corporate clients—both private and listed. He has worked across a broad range of industries, including technology and construction, but specializes in retail, consumer, and agriculture.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. van Bennekom spent 18 years with the Audit and Transactions Services departments of PwC, where he most recently served as a Director. Although most of his time was spent at PwC Amsterdam, Mr. van Bennekom was part of the Retail and Consumer deals team at PwC London for three years.

Mr. van Bennekom earned a master’s and a post-master’s degree in accountancy from Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant in the Netherlands. A Dutch national, he is fluent in Dutch and English.
