Harry Kim is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Life Sciences in San Francisco. With more than 25 years of experience scaling growth and innovation across the health and life sciences value chain, he specializes in unlocking the promise of digital health to dramatically improve health and business outcomes.  

Mr. Kim meshes cutting-edge technology with the highly regulated life science and healthcare ecosystem to increase access to new services, bend the cost curve of care delivery, and transform the patients’ experience. His notable achievements include building a $1 billion new business (digital hospitals); delivering health services to over 65 million consumers (global health app); developing industry-leading cardiac rehab-at-home service (wearable and app); and scaling telehealth adoption to millions of users. 

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kim served as global Business Leader for Samsung Health in South Korea delivering health services to over 360 million users on mobile and wearable platforms. He was also the global Health & Life Sciences Industry lead for HP, growing the business from $3 billion to $11+ billion in revenue. Previously, Mr. Kim was Chair and CEO for a telehealth start-up (inHealth) where he pioneered a new digital therapeutic. He also served as SVP and GM for a global telehealth leader (Amwell), leading strategic partnerships and population health.

Prior to his work in industry, Mr. Kim was a consultant with Ernst & Young and Deloitte, where he led engagements in market transactions, including HP’s $18 billion IPO spin-off of Agilent Technologies and Agilent’s $1.7 billion health group sale to Philips. He also led enterprise transformations through technology deployment ($100 million customer relationship management initiative) and process re-engineering (NPD/NPI for high-tech company).

Mr. Kim earned a bachelor’s degree (magna cum laude) from California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo. As a thought-leader and pioneer in digital health, he has advised governments and health enterprises in over 40 countries.
