Amy Guay

Ms. Guay has led teams that redesigned funds flow for both hospital- and non-hospital-based services, aligning physician compensation models with value-based managed care strategies and implementing strategic plans to achieve business goals. She led the redesign of multi-specialty physician practices as a member of the executive leadership team within highly matrixed academic health systems. Ms. Guay has also served as President and Chief Financial Officer, working on developing and implementing strategies to improve overall financial and operational performance.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Guay spent four years as President of Steward Medical Group, overseeing the integration of the employed physician group with nearly 1,500 clinicians in nine states. She led the redesign of the management services organization, revenue cycle and practice optimization efforts, reducing annual medical group expenditures by $150 million.
Previously, Ms. Guay served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Partners Continuing Care in Boston and as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Medical Center. She led financial negotiations on hospital and practice acquisitions/divestitures, joint ventures and oversaw recruitment efforts to build clinical services lines.
Ms. Guay earned a bachelor’s degree from Bentley University and a master’s degree in public health from Boston University. She is a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
