Armineh Aghazarian

With more than 17 years of experience in complex tax matters, Ms. Aghazarian has worked in Australia and the UK in professional services, in industry at a large ASX-listed company and at the Australian Taxation Office.
Ms Aghazarian has a deep knowledge of the tax landscape in Australia and globally, having advised large corporates on financing, restructuring, acquisitions, disposals and their associated compliance obligations. She utilizes her commercial and technical experience to advise clients on the management, governance and optimization of their tax risk framework, processes, procedures and tax function.
Ms. Aghazarian has worked with clients in various industries, including technology, retail, fast-moving consumer goods, (FMCG), infrastructure, media services, mining and industrial products.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Aghazarian spent 12 years with PwC in Sydney, London and Perth, serving most recently as Director in Sydney. In London she worked on global projects for FTSE 100 clients. In Australia she advised Australian and large multinational businesses and assisted clients on Justified Trust reviews with the ATO.
Ms. Aghazarian earned a bachelor’s degree in government and international relations and English from the University of Sydney and a master’s degree of law and legal practice from the University of Technology Sydney. She is admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
