Anthony Ranauro is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Perth. As leader of the Perth Disputes team, he brings more than 19 years of professional experience in finance, valuation and accounting. Mr. Ranauro’s primary areas of expertise are contested and non-contested valuation, commercial loss assessment (used by courts to assess damages) and forensic accounting. 

Mr. Ranauro brings experience across most major industries, with a particular depth of experience in natural resources (including support sectors), infrastructure, industrial manufacturing and services, consumer retail and property development. He has worked on projects around the world, including Australia, Asia, Canada, the United States and South America.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ranauro spent more than six years with KordaMentha, where he brought his deep financial and commercial expertise and experience to the commercial litigation space, providing dispute advisory on finance, valuation and accounting.

Previously, Mr. Ranauro spent almost 10 years with Deloitte in the Corporate Finance team advising clients on corporate finance projects, including independent expert reports, due diligence reviews and M&A lead advisory, and the valuation of a range of assets for statutory and strategic purposes. During this time, he spent over two years in Vancouver working under Deloitte’s Global Head of Mining Valuation. 

Mr. Ranauro earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce (finance and economics majors) from the University of Western Australia and a postgraduate diploma in applied finance and investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
