Alvarez & Marsal Promotes Paris-Based Yann Varin to Managing Director Within its Private Equity Performance Improvement Group

Paris, January 24, 2024 – Leading global professional services firm, Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) announces the promotion of Yann Varin to the role of Managing Director within its private equity team. This promotion strengthens A&M's ability to support private equity funds’ investment and operational teams and portfolio companies’ management teams.
 
Mr. Varin has more than ten years of consulting and operational management experience. Since joining A&M in 2016, Mr. Varin has led complex projects, particularly in the design and implementation of value creation plans for companies owned by private equity funds across various sectors including industrials, healthcare, business services, and distribution. He has been appointed Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) numerous times and has implemented performance improvement plans with significant earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) results.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Varin conducted research at Saint-Gobain before joining Mars & Co., a strategy consulting firm. He is a graduate of ENS Cachan.
