Amo Chahal

Mr. Chahal’s primary focus includes advising investors and existing holders of debt portfolios in acquiring, disposing or otherwise optimizing assets to achieve strategic objectives. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including the public sector, banking and private equity.
Additionally, Mr. Chahal has advised on €400+ billion of deleveraging and transactional projects over the last 15 years. He has advised on multiple asset classes across commercial and consumer debt portfolios, with extensive loan portfolio advisory experience in commercial real estate, shipping and aviation.
Furthermore, Mr. Chahal has advised on deleveraging and transactions across numerous geographies, including the U.K., Germany, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, the Nordics, UAE, Austria, CEE, SEA and the Chinese mainland.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Chahal was a Partner in a Big Four accountancy firm, where he specialized in portfolio advisory.
Mr. Chahal earned a bachelor’s degree in economics (first class) from the University of Birmingham. He is a chartered accountant and holds an ICAEW membership.
