Thomas Gounel

Mr. Gounel has led and coordinated valuation projects in various contexts including mergers & acquisitions; independent valuation opinions; multi-country legal and tax reorganizations; disputes and litigation between shareholders or partners as well as financial reporting including business combinations, fair value reporting and share option valuations.
Mr. Gounel works with both corporate and private equity clients across various sectors including automotive, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, technology and transportation.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gounel had 19 years of Big Four valuation and modelling experience in Paris and New York.
Mr. Gounel earned a master’s degree in engineering from Ecole des Mines and a master‘s degree in finance from ESSEC business school. He is an Adjunct Professor in finance at ESSEC and is actively involved in thinktanks on trademarks and technologies.
