Marc Farina

Mr. Farina has served in a number of leadership roles across the payer and provider landscapes, including medical expense management inclusive of multi-state network management, contracting, unit cost management, medical management and vendor management; operational planning and integration; product strategy and profitability; and new market evaluation/entry.
Additionally, Mr. Farina’s corporate and consulting leadership roles have spanned from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies and for both for-profits and non-profits, including Kaiser Permanente, Anthem, Amerigroup, Health Net, Oxford Health Plans, Horizon, Trinity Health Systems, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and VNSNY. He also served as founder of his own healthcare consulting practice.
Mr. Farina’s expertise includes leadership and turnaround work, unit cost and utilization management, creating market leading networks and competitive rate structures and products/benefits/pricing strategy. He has a track record of corporate management and consulting leadership, driving expense and revenue improvements in excess of $100 million.
Corporate positions held by Mr. Farina were Vice President of Network Management for Health Net, where he led network management and vendor management across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut and facilitated the integration into United Healthcare; Board of Directors for Health Net Insurance of New York, where he worked closely with state regulators and health plan associations; and Director at Oxford Health Plans, where he grew and managed Oxford’s unparalleled New York City network.
Mr. Farina earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Lehigh University and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from New York University. He has served as a trustee and board member of two non-profits in New York City.
