Jonathan Gibbons is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal's Transaction Advisory Group in Paris. He is the EMEA TAG Practice Co-Leader. Mr. Gibbons specialises in working for private equity groups investing in large, mid, and small cap transactions, as well as serving large corporate clients with an international focus.
Mr. Gibbons has over 25 years of experience, including more than 20 years of experience in transaction services. He has extensive experience with vendor, acquisition, and lender due diligence assignments and has worked on more than 200 successful transactions throughout Europe, North America, and Asia.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gibbons was a Transaction Services Partner with a Big Four in Paris. He co-led private equity activities and worked with leading investment funds over a range of segments and sizes. He also led the practice and development of SPA advisory services.
Mr. Gibbons started his career in audit departments of London and Paris, and was appointed CFO of a Paris based European technology provider.
Mr. Gibbons earned a master's degree in natural sciences from the University of Cambridge. He is a U.K. chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
